2015, fiberglass, priest: 210x80x50cm, policeman: 150x70x80cm

These sculptures are part of the "Dreams of The Frozen Man" cycle in which I use Disney cartoon heroes to interpret various social phenomenons. In this artwork I address the relationship between religious and secular authority. The priest and the policeman are shown at the moment of the holy act of communion, which is one of the most important rituals of the Orthodox Church and represents the culmination in the process of purification from the sins of the believers. At the same time, it is a very intimate act in which an adult feeds another adult with wine and bread.
