Beginning of the new millennium is a period of turbulent changes in Serbian society. The overthrow of the socialist regime opens the door to major changes in all fields. In addition to the awakening of national consciousness, which returns the church to the big door, there is also the influence of the consumer society, which relentlessly uses all means to achieve its goals. Religion and interest intertwine, money and interest take on religious elements. The commercialized church increasingly resembles a firm, and less and less an institution of spiritual progress as it presents itself.
