The Dialectics Of Equality
2012, Paper, naylon, high: 150cm
Regardless of whether the one is a president, a famous actor or a local drunkard, at first he will always be the man, with all those tiny human needs inherent in human beings. It has always seemed funny to me to imagine some world famous personality that, after a public appearance in front of millions, went to the bathroom to satisfy the need in solitude and silence. Whether it's Queen Elizabeth, Madonna or Novak Djokovic, for each is similar to the ritual, with a particularly interesting finish which consists in "reading" the toilet paper on how many are left until the end of the process. This is the final moment of intimacy that can't be share with anyone, small break in life, after which we continue as if nothing had happened.
